Dos Toros is a Mission-style taqueria with a simple goal: to serve every guest a truly great burrito. Founded by two brothers from California, Dos Toros brings the San Francisco taqueria experience to life with recipes made from scratch using the finest ingredients and proteins. Since opening their first location in New York City’s Union Square in 2009, Dos Toros has expanded to multiple locations across New York and Washington, D.C., redefining what it means to enjoy a truly great burrito.

A pioneer in the better-for-you, protein-focused fast-casual space, Protein Bar & Kitchen was founded in 2009 in downtown Chicago. Frustrated by the lack of dining options catering to an active lifestyle, founder Matt Matros envisioned serving “fast fuel” instead of fast food—delicious, nutritious, protein-packed shakes. The menu later expanded to include high-protein salads, wraps, and bowls, customizable for all diets—something for every BODY. Fifteen years later, Protein Bar & Kitchen continues to innovate with new protein-packed shakes and menu items and is on track to open numerous locations through licensing and franchising.

In 2013, Sweet Chick opened its first location in Williamsburg, Brooklyn with a simple philosophy: Have Fun, Eat Well & Spread Love. Founded by John Seymour and backed by Cultural icon Nas, Sweet Chick has quickly evolved to spread that ethos across multiple locations throughout New York and Los Angeles. Known for its 100+ iterations of Chicken and Waffles, the Sweet Chick menu also includes a variety of additional options including a full breakfast offering, salads, plant-based alternatives, a cocktail program and of course their famous chicken sandwiches. In its growth, Sweet Chick continues to push the boundaries, bringing a little extra hospitality by Spreading Love through the fast-casual concept.

Our Mission
We believe that the core strength of a restaurant brand is the passion and authenticity of its founders. Our founders remain focused on the quality of the food and the hospitality of each and every guest interaction. It is our mission to build the operating platform that allows founders to maintain that level of engagement at a larger size and scale.
Our Values
The launch of Founders Table brings together four like-minded, rapid-growth restaurant brands. Chopt, Dos Toros, Protein Bar & Kitchen, FIELDTRIP and Sweet Chick focus on the freshest flavors, responsibly-sourced ingredients, and creative menu development. Each company’s culture is built around the values of founders who saw a need for something different in their respective markets.
